Lauren Rogen Sexton, RD, CDE is a registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator and consulting nutritionist with over 18 years of experience in the medical field. She graduated from New York University in 2000 and completed her dietetic internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University. Lauren was COO and partner at Medical Nutrition Network in Los Angeles for over 4 years where she grew the company into a million-dollar medical practice, eventually selling the business. She has been practicing in the private sector for over 15 years, treating a range of health conditions across diverse populations and age groups.
Dr. Carmen Kletecka is an Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist with expertise in Molecular Pathology. She performed her residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology at Case Western Reserve University Hospitals of Cleveland and fellowship subspecialty training in Molecular Genetic Pathology and Surgical Pathology at TriCore Reference Laboratories and the University of New Mexico Hospital. She is triple board certified by the American Board of Pathology and jointly by the American Board of Medical Genetics. Dr. Kletecka is experienced in molecular testing of oncology, hereditary disease and infectious disease specimens. She currently serves as the Medical Director of the VISN22 Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory in Los Angeles where she implemented molecular oncology testing by next generation sequencing for the VA system. Previously, she served as medical director of Molecular Pathology at LSU University Medical Center providing infectious disease testing.
Elaine has over 15 years’ experience developing and overseeing programs to ensure high quality standards and regulatory compliance with State and Federal agencies. Elaine has a wealth of experience in setting up Quality Systems for start up Molecular, Genomic and Clinical laboratories through her consulting company ELuckey Consulting LLC. Prior to joining SafeSite Screening LLC as the Laboratory Director in August 2020 , Elaine was the Director of Quality at Rosetta Genomics (formerly Abbott Cynogen) for over 3 years. Prior to Abbott, she was the Director of QA and Regulatory Affairs for PathCentral Inc where she implemented a compliance program for the Sales team and was responsible for obtaining the laboratory’s CAP accreditation and New York certification. Prior to PathCentral, Elaine was the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance at Clarient Inc where she implemented Lean training programs for the laboratory scientific personnel.
She has an MBA from the University of Redlands and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Loma Linda University. Elaine’s other certifications and licenses include a CLS (ASCP) in California, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) and Quality Systems Regulations Certified Professional (QSRCP). She is currently the Quality Director of PreludeDx, an innovative breast cancer testing laboratory.
Chris Sturgeon has spent 25+ years as a marketing and communications executive, leading digital agency teams for global brands in almost every vertical. A three-time CLIO award winner, he founded Caviar Creative Group in St. Louis, MO, focusing on non-profits and start-ups in the arts/music, sports, and technology sectors. He has an MFA from the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California, where he spent 12 years as an adjunct professor. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for The University of the South (Sewanee).
